Sky Blue Radio Airlines Rank Structure
Welcome to the Sky Blue Radio Airlines rank structure.
Every pilot begins their journey at the gate, and every approved flight helps move them closer to the next step in their virtual airline career. Our ranks are based on total approved flight hours, giving pilots a clear path to grow, unlock new opportunities, and show their dedication to the Sky Blue Radio Airlines community.

How Ranks Work
Pilot ranks are based on your total approved flight hours.
After each flight, pilots submit a PIREP, also known as a Pilot Report. Once that PIREP is accepted, the flight time is added to the pilot’s profile. When the required number of hours is reached, the pilot becomes eligible for the next rank.
Ranks may also help determine aircraft access, route opportunities, and long-term pilot achievements within the airline.

5. Continue flying to build hours toward your next rank.
Every accepted flight counts toward your total pilot hours.
—
Aircraft Access
Some aircraft may require a minimum rank or number of approved flight hours before they become available.
This helps create a meaningful progression system and gives pilots something to work toward as they build experience with the airline.
As Sky Blue Radio Airlines grows, aircraft access may be adjusted based on fleet changes, route structure, and operational needs.
—
Awards and Recognition
Ranks are only one part of the Sky Blue Radio Airlines pilot experience.
Pilots may also earn awards for flight hour milestones, special routes, event participation, aircraft achievements, and other accomplishments across the network.
Awards give pilots additional goals beyond rank progression and help recognize activity within the airline.
